Hi Girls.
This will be my final update for the 2011 Gears Girls season!
Come out to one of our final rides of the season - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday rides will all leave from Gears as usual at 6:30pm. To mark the end of the season, we'll do a slightly shorter ride on Monday and Thursday and, provided the weather is good and people are interested, we'll end the ride at ICE CREAM!
For those interested, a group of us will continue riding Tuesdays in September. We'll leave from Gears as usual but will try to depart at 6:15pm as we'll only have limited light. Pace and distance will be comparable to the current Tuesday night rides. Please bring front and rear lights. Let me know if you're interested.
Thanks to everyone for another amazing season. Some great friendships have been formed and some memorable adventures have been made. Thanks again to all of you for your support, enthusiasm and commitment to the club.
BTW, if you're looking for some winter training options don't hesitate to drop me a line. Remember that Gears offers spin classes 7 days a week or check out the selection of bike trainers for sale at either of the Gears locations. Winter is (sadly) almost upon us so it's time to start thinking about how you're going to stay in shape for the 2012 ride season!
